Virgil Abloh teases alternate "MCA" AF-1
Once again, Virgil Abloh has teased sneakerheads showing off a never before seen colorway of the Nike X Off-White MCA AF-1 during Paris Fashion Week 2019. Out of the highly anticipated Nike Off-white sneaker drop, the "MCA" has skyrocketed in price and popularity, sitting at an average sale price of $2513, with the highest sale blowing customers away at $4602. This original sneaker retailed for the first time in June 2019 at $150 USD...
Taking a closer look at this tasty shoe has a couple of slightly altered peculiarities from the original MCA with a sky blue leather exterior with a modified black midsole. The red zip tie and the reflective silver swoosh has stayed the same; the laces are redesigned using the same laces as the recently released Nike Off-white low dunks.
Nothing has been confirmed from Nike or Virgil Abloh regarding this particular release. Leaves everyone wondering, is this a one-off piece from Virgil himself, or will this be hitting retail stores in 2020?
